got the old track bar bracket off, the 2 lower nuts on the framerail were no longer welded to the rail thus causing the mount to flex and crack. got the RE bracket in good. replaced all the hardware with grade 8 stuff. the brace seems to not quite sit even. if its nice n perfect on one side, the other side deosnt sit right. tomorrows project is playing wiht all that and plating the PS to fit right.

also totally managed to not realize that the old mount was like 1.5" wide, new RE one is 2" looks like im gunna have to buy a new joint for the TB.

nooo why?

so altnough i'm drunk right now i shoul dpost up for my YJ i just bought for the DD, afer seing it in the light.

turns out it's missing a rear shock (whoops, didnt notice it tuesday), power steering actually works but the fluid leaks, and has a small but probably not big deal crack in the frame but since i wont' be wheeling it or even going more than 60 miles an hour it shouldnt be a big deal.. fun to drive though!
