yep

1300 for a case out of an 05, when i recoup some $$ in gettin 1350 yokes for the axles and gonna give tom woods a call to get some d shafts made up and i gotta get an electronic speedo i think imma go with this one http://www.fixthisride.com/showproductdetail.jsp?prod_id=18664

that will keep me happy until i do an autometer and new dash thing

ugh i gotta go dry out the garage so i can get my sliders and stiffeners all put on and hopefully re-re do my floors the right way and if time permits finish my passenger door for doorless :)

FYI...
I ordered a set of Part # 64509. 10.5" Extreme travel remote res. shocks for the rear of the XJ. 63.95/ea. I was hoping for 12" travel shocks, but I only have 8" travel Ranchos right now, so ANYTHING will be better. I just couldn't beat the price.

No, definitely can't beat the price. Too bad I'm getting SXs and beadlocks, and can't afford this deal on shocks for awhile. "too bad" is a relative term of course. not like i'm depressed about getting wheels n tires hahah

just finished puttin full circle clips on one of my PS shafts. tomorrow ill start on the track bar bracket and stuff

The jig that Ross made to cut the shafts is to make space for the full circle c-clip to fit around the u-joint cap inside the yoke. The main reason an axle shaft fails is the half-circle c-clip pops out from abuse and that sends the cap out. This causes the trunnion of the joint to contact the yoke of the shaft and stretch it out. The full circle clip prevents the cap from spitting out because it grabs the whole lip of the cap instead of a little more than half.

holy crap 350? gad damit, ive been looking for about 3 months now and 1k-1500 is the going price now it seems, the only ones i found for under 1k were trashed, maybe ill keep looking but im impatient haha

I'd much rather pay a little bit more and wait a little bit longer for quality and service. whenever i need bolts, i always hit the smaller local hardware stores rather the home depot or lowes. they ALWAYS have what i need or something i can work with
