Hmmm it sounds like you used adequate BFH but you neglected to use fire. You see those are the only two tools needed for disassembly. Trust me I know how to take things apart. I can't gaurantee things will fit together after well with my method but

HEAT, BFH, REPEAT

Sorry, I was talking about reassembly. I needed BFH to reassembly the brakes.

Dissasembly, well, lets just say there are pieces of the old drums sitting in my driveway. I cut those suckers off. Fire wouldn't have been good in this situation, brake fluid is flamable, and I didn't want to worry about possibly heating up and destroying the axle shaft seal.

Damn! Something is wrong with either the battery or alternator in that big dumb Honcho thing out in my parking lot. I was really looking forward to messing up all the snow banks in my apartment complex and making my neighbors angry.

As said before, $700.
