no, i know it's not. but when that's what they give you and they supply the bits and the lube, it is.

Its the argument I made here as well. If they don't provide the right tools and procedures how do they expect people (unlike you and I) who really don't know what to use. Unfortunately some will think it is ok...

true. the sad thing is, our student machine shop director used to run a professional machine shop... and he uses WD40 all the time at school... he doesnt' even have a private stash of cutting oil and whatever. i'm surprised. but whatever....

i sold it to my buddy for $100 as part of a F.I. swap kit for his honcho along with a head, wiring harness, intake, and fuel rail.

Nice, a fuel injected Honcho! I'm picking up a TBI setup this upcoming tuesday. It will be far from a bolt on ordeal but soon enough I will have a fuel injected Honcho as well.

AAAARRRRRRGGGG!

My power supply on my desktop just lit itself up. No joke. The magical white electrical smoke and all. This was supposed to be a decent power supply, but of course it is made in China. God do I hate Chinese junk. There does another $80 I could have spent on the XJ. Yes, I could buy a cheaper one, but then I'll have these same problems again.

On the bright side I'm glad it didn't take anything else (mobo, harddrives) with it and I have a laptop to use.

Back up and running. $69.99 after mail-in-rebate.
I was very surprised on the super fast shipping. Got it this morning, that's 34hours (for those keeping track) from time of order to my hands! I even selected the cheap "free" option. Newegg.com they are great.
