Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think my Jeep looks more complete now. I gained steering radius, but still dont' have a full lock since I don't have steering stop bolts anymore, since they broke trying to adjust them before. Took them for a quick test spin around the block and they feel balanced nicely and have a fun hum

p.s. taking pictures in the pitch dark makes it very hard to line up shots

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

OUCH! Why didn't you do it and change to the 136Amp Durango one everyone is raving about?

thats what i would of done, but by the time i got out of work and found out the jeep broke down she had already sent it to the garage and they fixed it, i even have a spare altenator in the basement from my spare motor

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i was the one that thought of the traction button! stop taking all the credit Carmelo!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

well if i were locked i'd be a little more worried, but i'll be rubbing hardcore before it gets too bad

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

anyone here running re super flex upper arms, lookin at re's instructions online they say to use the supplied hardware at the axle end, is it just a grade 8 bolts or are there and spacers?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have the RE superflex non-adjustable-made-adjustable-arms. I believe its just a 10mm bolt at the axle end. Thats what I have atleast.

Ya Rob, Mark is right it is a 10mm bolt.
I think I have the two bolts that came with the arms when I got them, but it would probably be cheaper (and better) for you to just grab some new 10mm Grade 10.9 bolts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i got the uppers used from Bill, i got a brand new set of upper control arm bushings so i test fitted everything but there was a gap between the bushing sleve and control arm, but i just tightend it up with a bolt and that closed the gap, it must of been a 3/16 gap, with my brand new lowers came with grade 8 bolts for the axle end, im goin to the hardware store this weekend to get a matching set for the frame end and some for the uppers, im bringing the upper arms with me

Ya, I believe that is how a set of brand new uppers where when we installed them on a buddies TJ. The ears on the mounts are actually a little far apart and they closed right up when we tightened the bolt/nut down.

Sorry Rob I should have thrown in the used bolts as well it didn't even cross my mind as I generally always use new stuff. If you want I can throw them in an envelope and mail 'em to ya.
