THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On a stock airbox there are two vaccum hoses that enter in the top... i have a lid that only has an entry on the side, not the tube. Can i make a tee so that i don't have to get a new lid?? or until i have time to get to a junkyard!

Haha, I was just saying a Honcho that was similar to your body style, with the square headlights. Unlike the one with circular headlights I saw before that one.

Ya ya my Honcho will out Honcho any other Honcho. HONCHO! Wanna trade?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So, anthony's pic of him parking on the snow pile reminded me of a funny story. Back in high school they'd make big piles like that, and people always parked their jeeps on them in our own jeep corner we had. One kid decided to back up one of the piles and park it pointing down hill at like a 45* angle. So he leaves it there all day, letting all the oil in the engine drain all back down into the front of the oil pan. School ends and we had out to our vehicles. Kid jumps in and fires it up. Decides to rev it up a little bit, get it warmed up and running. Then it happens. First a couple of lifters start knocking. granted its a 4.0 and they all knock a little bit, but then it starts sounding like a diesel. then BAM!!!, it jsut stops running all together. he managed to seize the engine. the moral of this story is oil pumps dont work if the pickup isnt sumerged in oil.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The Honcho now runs manly again. Brakes should be good too. Even the steering should be dandy. Now all I need is some odds and ends.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My RE superflex lowers came in today, am ordering shocks tomorow

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

does that mean you got the electric choke working?

did it just need to be adjusted?

The choke appears to be working OK. It definitely needs to be adjusted but I didn't even bother to do it yet. The problem was when it backfired(which happens because the choke doesn't work right). It shoots off one of my vacuum plugs. So all I needed to do was put on a tighter plug and it runs like a champ. Tomorrow i'm going to start cleaning out the bed and find a place for the tires and test drive it. I messed with the brakes and they didn't squeel in the parking lot then me and adam got the steering in order.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the Altenator went in in my moms XJ today, shop charged her $400 to replace it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Damnit!

I spent $1000 on the Choke-be-still 3000...

Oh then you'll be real jealous to find out i'm installing a super traction button tomorrow. I'm getting the two wire hookup version to that installs with play-do. Whenever I loose traction all I have to do is flip a switch and "BAM!" super traction! I'm not sure how it works but dinosaurs are involved.

OUCH! Why didn't you do it and change to the 136Amp Durango one everyone is raving about?
