THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was taking a regular mallet and wailing on the edges, wasn't working. I can't imagine the slide hammer would have been more effective.

I would rather just sell the 8.25, plus it has a shock stud broken off, so I would have to get that fixed first. I also don't want to pull all the ABS crap out. I'll take the easier way out, and just fix the brakes, rather than do an axle swap. Its not like I'm wheeling it that I need the extra strength.

Thanks for the link, but I have some stuff I need to return at Home Depot so I'll just pick some up there. (I know, you hate HD).

id buy that 8.25 if you were any closer, or if we could figure out a parts run or somthin

If Mark's willing to meet me halfway between me and him, I can bring it the rest of the way to ya whenever we trade the coils...

that could work, would have to figure out money and stuff, but after a 10hr work day and lots of beer its time for bed

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

whatever, don't worry about it. it's really not a big deal to me dood. as long as that can work for mark it should be fine

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Where would be half way?

My Jeeps aren't exactly the best for long distance trips at the moment....

And I got a lot of sheete going on right now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm in Dracut, right next to Lowell. When I get outta work this afternoon at 3 I'll be driving to Palmer to get the back half of the MJ cab for my chop... I know you're down by the cape or whatever, but I guess let me know where the furthest you could go would be, I'll be out and about anyways so driving toward you isn't a huge deal if you'll be around this evening...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Travis I could probably meet you in Boston, but I can't do it this weekend.

Even more good news with the 2 door. I had to cut a lugnut and stud off, and beat one of the rims to get the driver side tire off. The lugnut "cover" had cracked open, and after this came off, it just stripped out. Nut splitter didn't work. Ended up having to cut and grind the thing off.

Bill: NO. Haha.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ok no problem, just lmk what works for ya. and i had the same thing happen with a lugnut before, on an alum. rim, had to torch it off :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, thankfully it was just the steel one, so it was easy to get access to it after i broke off the black centercap things. I would have hated to have that happen to one of my aluminum Eccos when I had them on my green jeep.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mark, with all this talk of traveling around to swap/sell parts, let me get in there somewhere and ill get the D30 too. we might be able to work something out since im kinda halfway between u and travis.
