THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The plan is to get it drivable. Whether or not I'll be fully finished and be able to do any serious stuff will depend on if I'll have the interior cage finished and if I can squeeze time for a shakedown run.

OK, sounds good to me.

RC is an excellent place for a shakedown run. Heck, the comp course is right next to the parking lot, so you don't even have to go far. I have seen people pull their junk off the trailer, drive 200 yards, roll it/break it, then limp the 200 yards back to the trailer....

yeah northeastern and wentworth run classes all summer long due to the co-op programs. i'll have to save a vacation day or two to be able to make this trip as well

Honestly, I'd be upset if that happened. It is quite a haul to trailer it all the way down there for that to happen!
I'm hoping for a more local and less breakage shakedown. :) Nothing to worry about for awhile though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i just got a winch and the cable is snapped on it, can i get somekind of clamps for a temp fix for keeping a hook on it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you think i will be able to trust them lol..... wheeling at the meet and greet i think there might be a couple of pulls i just dont to break some thing or some one :gee:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

true. i can't think of any other way to make use of a broken cable though. you could make an eyelet with a lot of those and a hoop... i bet that would be better. how do they come from the factory?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

fair enough. you could always try it on a few things with no one around to see if it holds if you home brew something.
