yeah, exciting stuff. i love cruising around in it with the jeep, and goin snowboarding etc...but getting home and having to shovel... blah.

alright guys so i have a conundrum... i love the color of my jeep but i have had an Epiphany.(purposely using absurd words)
anyways....
with the increasing amount of trail damage i think i am going to have trouble finding parts to color match. so i can either deal with it and search high and low for color matching parts OR Rattle can paint my jeep so i can just paint and new parts before installing...

t_aldrich: did you ever see billy's old rig. when he rolled it last summer, the hood got scraped and you could see all the different colors it ever was. i believe i saw, in no particular order pink, yellow, bright blue, and camo. rattle can is the way to go. i want to do mine bright orange when it gets beyond reasonable.

Does anyone else agree with me here that this guy is falsely blaming the LCA failure on RE when it should be blamed on the set up?

Edit, I have now 2,100 post, I was slowly working my way up to 2,000 the other day, now due to this thread I have an extra 80 or so.

they do help with structural integrity, you ever see Perterbiults old XJ? the doors were the only thing keeping it together.

If you compare the damage to my xj to sean's and look at the pillars. there is really not much of a difference. his flop seemed to be more on the side while mine took it on the a pillar. the doors might have helped a little, but i think a rolled xj is screwed either way.
I'd say its better to have doors just for the sake of keeping idiots who dont wear seatbelts inside.
