THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Haha, you had dunkaroos out on the trail list time didn't you Colin?

And I mean I pressed on this thread from the main page, and it brought me to page 32 instead of 34, and so I thought those were the last post, and I posted up Willy Wonka, and then after it posted I noticed I was a page too late, and it had already been said.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

are some better than others? ?
Depends on what you are going to do with it. Are you retaining stock suspension? Coilovers? How much work do you want to put in it? Driver's drop or pass drop.
I do agree with asp387, if you're going D60, get one with kingpins.
i work at a parts store now i can rebuild em for pretty cheap....
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! :laugh2:
Cheap and D60 don't go together. Add up the cost of just doing a basic rebuild without getting into shafts, gears or lockers. You'd be amazed at the cost. I has thought the same thing, and sure was surprised. :(
its not going under my jeep until they get lockers and new gears...probly stock shafts...i hear they are pretty beefy espcially since i dont plan on anything bigger than 33's until i can afford new tires...
now my biggest question is about rim size. i hear that you can run anything smaller than 16's to clear the brakes?
For 33s or even 35s, do what Begster did. I can't comment enough how much his XJ is just perfect, IMO, for DD and trail use.
Anything else if you plan on touching gears, shafts, locker... look at about $2500-3000 to build. No joke.
both. the CL listing only had rears for sale but i plan on a front when i can find one for a decent price.
Good luck finding a front D60 cheap. My advice, find someone that doesn't know what his D60 is or is looking for quick cash for a whole truck. Chances are that is the seller knows what a D60 is, they arn't gonna get rid of it for cheap.
Rears are very very cheap. Around a $100 complete, or I've seen some go for pratically nothing with missing brakes. Convert it to discs for about $250-300 and be good to go with a few mounts. Assuming you don't touch the gears, shafts, locker. While I don't want to get into a debate of D60 vs 14b, consider the 14b. I only used my rear D60 cause I had it.
