THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i am so happy i kept it parked, my jeep is held together with self tappers and window caulk. Not quite up to par for that trail

nither is mine, thats why i wont run it again with the blue jeep

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

stop being a crybaby

Ya I dont want to hear it when I didn't even get the chance to break my junk at Fall Crawl. I would be ecstatic to have the chance to demolish my jeep on such a knarly trail.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I kinda want to run it. But after Scott's description of how it gets further into the trail, I think I want to walk it first and see how it is haha. Rob, up for a scouting mission anytime soon? :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've been down there to talk to someone about joining but I'm not sure I can all the meetings. But it is less 10 min away.

I haven't been to a meeting in months (unfortunately) ....It's certainly not a requirement for membership. I have to work second shift on Wednesday's now, so it's difficult for me to get to the meetings. Although, this month I'm going to try and swap day's with somebody so I can make it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i just ordered some new daystar rear bumps so *hopefully* i won't trash these OME springs like the last ones will. any bets as to how much i can make for my old springs on JF?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

bed is ok, looks like a sweet truck with some TLC

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I would give up my Honcho for a running gladiator with a buick350,t18, dana 20 combo in good condition(not gonna happen).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm not going to even bother to read the last 10 pages.

My schedule today was get up, class from 9:50-11:30.
Then library from 11:40am-12:00am
F*ck that man, 2nd 12 hour day I've spent in the library.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mark, if you need some comic relief please see:

"Would this work??" in mod-tech. awesomeness.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hmm maybe i shouldn't have said SOON... this saturday I'm only available in the AM, sunday I'm working on maintenence stuff on the Jeep, and the 31st I'm wheeling/cutting with DWE. maybe nov. 1st would work though... not positive just yet, but maybeeee...

I know my jeep can make it down to where we ended up having to turn around, without much trouble. we could keep going from there and just see how rough it gets

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

cmelo, lemme see if I can dig up the aluminum lumps I poured about ten years ago after melting some scrap in a campfire... they look pretty awesome polished up, bet they'd make good shift knobs.

If I can't find them, gimme a rough idea and I'll see if I can't cast up some new ones.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

man, that "will this work" thread is pure gold... I'm always amused when AdvFab/everyone with a buggy join forces and troll the hell out of some random thread in OEM/ModTech.

Also, I'm not sure jasonsxj has even caught on yet... he hasn't used enough exclamation marks !! and question marks ?? or even mixed ?? !! ?? ,, them!! yet ,,,

as a side note... low ceilings in garages suck. I put a 1 inch long gash in my scalp standing up into a fricken garage door opener track while working on the MJ tonight. Pretty sure it hit bone, due to the grating noise I heard just before hitting the floor.

That sounds pretty awesome but possibly too nice for my Honcho. I'd have a hard time welding aluminum to the brackets i'm going to make as well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

jb weld is the best invention ever...who ever thought..."I wanna "weld" something, but I want it to stay cold!!!"
