yeah everything below the floorboards is pretty much made of rust
Sam's only wants a hundred bucks for a new axle though, so I'm pretty sure I will be picking one up this Saturday (I'd just replace the coil mounts but it'll take longer, I'm not sure my welder is up to the task, and coil mounts will cost more than the whole new axle.) Anyone know what a full d30 weighs? I can't find it via google for some reason.

no problem, take your time - I'm fine with pretty much any price up to 100, as long as they've got 3.55 gears - saves me time at the junkyard. I can pick up whenever you want probably

OK, definitely count me down for that - can pick up pretty much anytime outside of business hours thursday/friday or sometime saturday + afternoon sunday. After this week I have no idea what my schedule is!

So I got a nice lure for pulling a guy in a Ford Ranger out of Lake Massabesic today. Guy buried one tire in the sand trying to get his trailer out of the water. Pulled him and the trailer out of the water, then he gave me a lure for doing it. Sholda asked for his girlfriend for an hour or two...

so I think my transmission is angry at me... it decided that moving forward was for the birds while I was in the middle of an intersection in fitchburg today
Luckily, letting it sit for 10 minutes and turning it off/on made it go mostly back to normal. I'm thinking overheated/old fluid. Hopefully not "needs rebuild".
