The newer ones are 35 spline. The only older 60s that were 35 were ford HD ones from what i've been told and they are rare. Just so you know alot of guys have good success with my same setup on 38s. I dont know how I broke it so easy. Alot of FSJ guys run 35s on stock 44s and do okay and I dont think I was beating on it too hard.... Bob, I was going light right? I also busted a front shaft but I saw that coming and i'm not surprised. Same with the front driveshaft it was made of pencil dick meat.
Billy, I'm planning to get to F&F by around 6 or 7 on Friday hopefully.
And Jon, yup, superiors/CTM's are all assembled, AND both axles are gearedHad a great time at Bill's house yesterday and got that junk done. Also did his SYE  woohoo!
I'm not surprised you broke a rear shaft if they're the same as an XJ44 shaft. I twisted the splines on my pass side stock shaft easy on 35s and an XJ is a lot lighter. I don't know how the hell those guys would think that it could take 38s.
Just out of curiousity, was it the long side?

On a good note, my LTC is in.
