THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

Damn dude, that would be the only thing to get me back into a XJ. you need to shine those wheels up some.

Ya, I didn't have time or the drive to wash it, I was too busy cleaning the garage.

First serious post I've ever had for you, how much?
I would post it for $3k. It has 75,8XX miles on it. Interior is awesome, there are a ton of new parts on it less than 100 miles (hell, less than 30 miles most likely I just haven't driven it) ago, like leaf springs and shackles, control arms and bushings in front, front and rear brakes, rebuild front drive shaft, new u-joints in rear drive shaft, will have a rebuilt t-case, new steering box, TRE at pitman arm, Diehard battery, heater core, and probably a few other parts I'm forgetting.

That is just stuff that was just replaced, I've replaced a lot over the 5-6 years I've owned it. It is a start and go, won't need anything after I swap t-cases and I've got a few random spare parts for it.

Thanks Southwest for canceling and changing our flight and our boarding. We went from #11 and #12 boarding to #118 and #119. :|

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

Places locally I can find the green version of Loctite/Permatex for sleeve/bearing retaining, ready GO!!

O'Reilly or Advance Auto carries the Permatex version

Those were the two places I stopped at in the way home, everybody only has green threadlocker not the sleeve retainer version I want

This is usually a specialty type. The local machine/tool shop supply has it by me (I got mine there) or you can order it from places like Zoro, Grainger, Enco, McMaster, etc.

If I had a machine supply shop near me, I'd be screwed lol. I woulda thought a parts store woulda had some but I guess not. I'll check Auto zone tomorrow otherwise I'll swing by Grainger

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

Grainger will have it for sure (although maybe not the cheapest). I am doubting AutoZone.

Ross find me some fenders for my truck.

Apparently I missed the bubbling that's going on. Nick caught it on Sunday after we finished his shed .

Will the ones off Ross's truck suffice?

Bill did you change the fitting in your fuel cell to connect to the pickups or did you use the original ones

I changed the fitting to a bulkhead so I could thread on something on both sides.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

What are you trying to do Rob?

Honestly, talk to Tim at LII. He spec'd out my entire fuel system with submersible hose and everything. I'd at least get his opinion and price it out. I don't think the actual labor of him installing the pickups was very much.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

You just run reg fuel injection hose?

Yea and no. The stuff I used is rated to be in tank, not all is IIRC. There is some rating that says this and will make sure the fuel does not attack the outside of the hose. I got it from RockAuto if I remember right. It is common and can be had at a good parts store.
