Anything helps. Still an hr away from St. Albans to get the car.
Surprisingly this amtrak trip did not make me want to destroy everyone on board.
What a rarity...

Pretty slippery through Western ma. Changed over to freezing rain about an hour ago.

Justin and I are doing a lot of driving today, but we were in PA before the precipitation started. Tons of tards off the road though. It was impressive. So, as is often the case, I'd say just drive reasonably, the roads are probably plenty fine... It's the idiots you'll need to keep an eye out for :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

The roads are somewhat drivable, 'twas the jeep that was the problem.
Started bucking and losing power 5 miles out onto the highway. A mile later hazards and signals went.
Limped to the closest exit and found that the grounding strap from firewall to the fuel rail was severed, so I twisted it back together, and threw a can of isoheet in the tank. 100 miles later alt guage drops like a rock, so I stop and check alternator connections and all were well, gave that strap a little tightening with a zip tie, and everything worked again....
More then halfway home, 150 miles left. Still have no signals or hazards.

So plumbing in my new air compressor I need a compression 90 because there is no way I was going to sweat a fitting on inside of a corner wall. Just isn't going to work snaking in between two 2x8s with 1.5" gap, no room to even get the torch in place. Anyway I called to order that along with some other things I needed and I asked the woman taking the order "I need brass compression elbow for 3/4" copper, which is a 7/8" OD." She has says no problem. Order placed. I get the invoice and it says "three-quarter inch compression fitting" I called back to verify this as I knew really need a 7/8" compression fitting to fit the 3/4" inch copper. Guy on the other and says "Yep that's just how the system lists it".

Guess what shows up?
