For more mainstream stuff, a guy at work gave me a copy of the newest Alterbridge album, which was surprisingly pretty good. Great guitar work but I get tired of Miles Kennedy pretty quickly.

New Black Stone Cherry is also good garage background tunes.

After not hearing much about them since they formed, I was surprised when I heard Alterbridge on XM's Octain. I was confused as to if if it was the same band or not, because why would a band with 3/4 members of Creed be on a hard rock station?

I do like some of their songs.

And I'm just over here blasting Limp Bizkit.

I definitely did that the other day....

Saw them a few years ago, it was a fun show. An aging Fred Durst dressed like some punk from the mid 90's with knee high socks and shants stomping around like an idiot.

So my foreman just walked by with the owner and points to me and tells the owner I'm his number one guy. Then the owner says wow. He(the foreman) never sys that about anyone. You must be really good.

This is awesome because this is a really big company that could keep me working for years without being laid off!
