Not sure if having the back open has anything to do with it but the jeep is a lot louder now

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So my bike finally runs decent. I had the stock carbs with pods that everyone said you have to rejet for pods, you do but I was using duct tape to lean them out instead. It sort of ran but I couldn't let it idle under like 2k. So a couple weeks ago a suzuki 750 came in and I ripped the carbs off. They're like 2mm bigger bore and have HUGE jets in them compared to what's in my stock dude. So I slapped them on today after wonking out the bolt holes for the suzuki boots. This bike seems pretty rad, it idles and shit which is cool or whatever. I did some WOT rips down this shit street a couple times, I'm still not dead yet. I figure I'll just keep upgrading it until just driving down the block kills me.

Hey ken, I finally had to wire a jumper for my window ECU

Hey Ken, I finally got those 8.8 gears installed last night. Pattern'd pretty nicely with not too much dicking around, although I've yet to find a use for the "2.465" value scribed on the pinion head. Ended up having to add about .015" depth over the OEM gears and move the carrier away about .030.

In related news, I reinstalled the axles too and tested the E-locker, pretty cool how that whole thing works.

Did final welding on all the brackets, welded the tubes to the diff, just need to make the pads for the bumps to hit and the rear will be completely done.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Cool! Glad they worked out for you.

I spent the day wandering around junkyards and got ****all, nothing good anywhere, and now I'm fabbing a bumper for a YJ. Where did my life go wrong?

Ken, which yard has the best selection of xjs right meow? I still need a wiring harness...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Probably sams, the 3 pick-n-pulls I went to yesterday had jack and shit. Sams usually has half a dozen but I haven't been there in a while.

I did see a 94 dakota with the old K car 2.5L, weird looking under a completely different vehicle and seeing the same AX15 in there.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

k. thanks guys. Sam's is easy for me to get to, too.
