Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Who says there is no conversation then?

Eh, watch the sites you can while still on the the road and just think. Kinda nice to clear my head.

Don't get me wrong I like music. I just don't listen to a whole heck of a lot of it.

lol. different strokes for different folks. i was raised on music always being on, even right now at work i have spotify going.. the quiet freaks me out unless im sitting out on a mountain or whatever somewhere where there actually IS real quiet.

Yeah, pretty much.
I was raised in the silence (well from the standpoint of music) and the quiet lake outdoors so NOT having silence to listen to nature or life around me for a period of time is odd.

http://www.mountwashington.org/about/volunteer/summit.php

just found this... sounds awesome. Spending a week at the summit of Mt Wash just by cooking and cleaning? Yup. Even better if you could eventually get in for the winter.

Sounds fun. I could cook a few 17 person turkey dinners for that.

I'll bet they already have regular volunteers they pick from.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my first mp3 player was a creative nomand jukebox zen extra. geez thats a long ass name, no wonder why the company did so terribly lol. anyway, that thing replaced my minidisc player, another thing that really didnt take off.

I had a zen and a mini disk. Lol.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I really need a POS radio for my garage. Right now I just blast the radio in my truck while I'm doing shit.

Slapped together some 4x4 PT last night as some firewood stands and laid them in the backyard near the tree line. Tomrrow if the weather holds out I'm going to start stacking the wood up on the stands and getting it away from the deck.

Ticks are also out in full force...
yard sales FTW! although i find that grinding dust kills cd players quick. dosnt matter with 5-10 dolla radios

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I rarely listen to music while driving. Usually only if someone is with me otherwise windows down (Even the colder months) and listen to the road. Probably another reason I dislike traffic.

In the shop I have an old iPhone 4s that has nothing on it but Pandora hooked to a 1991 Yamaha amp and the Infiniti speakers out of the Jeep. Yeah, I am an audiophile.

That's like serial child rapist weird, like people that wear other people's skin would be creeped out by you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have the music cranked unless I am talking to someone (no one rides with me ever) or driving near the limit and want to hear the tires so I have a better idea of how much I have left before they break loose. These tires are really talkative, tons of warning before they slide.

Speaking of which a little math verified what my cellphone accelerometer was claiming. I can pull 0.85-0.95G turns in the XJ on the 93/95 cloverleaf near work, these are the best MTs I've ever street driven. :laugh2:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I need to do my browndog mounts so I can properly beat on mine.

shortbed MJ is "sporty" compared to longbed and XJ.
