Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hennessey is a piece of shit, simple as that.

what was the no start issue? and i knew about the DW. never could figure out the issue though. needs new rear carrier and spiders to

It was the ignition switch actuator.

Tom has been doing burnouts and flogging the hell out of the thing for about a month now. Still drives on the highway mint. The rear end doesn't even make noise.

Robert, do we need to go to a relationship counselor again?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

what are clogged heater core symptoms? My new truck will get up to temp but the heat is luke warm at best. when i feel the hoses going into the core one is really hot and the other is warm. could it be clogged or could there be air in it? how do i go about flushing the thing or getting the air out?

EDIT: also seems to blow warmer with higher rpms, still not hot tho.

Sounds like a clogged heater core. When my jeep was acting like that I undid both of the lines on the motor side and sprayed the hose into each one a few times. Did the trick.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That sucks Bob. I think i'd rather do my fuel pump than a heater core. I think our trucks have quick connect heater hoses at the firewall.

Yup, definitely sounds like it.

Be prepared to do a heater core, but hopefully not have to.

It looks just as bad as the XJ.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Heater cores are just one of those jobs, on most vehicles... at least it isn't a Volvo or a Land Rover.

Honestly though late model XJ heater cores are really not that bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I would have thought the heater core on my Dodge would blow.

I did it in about 3 hours, never having done one before.

Basically you end up hanging half of the dash, cutting out the old heater core, and the new ones come with swivel fittings so you can rotate the thing into place with like 10" of room between the dash and firewall.

I actually kind of enjoyed it
