THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hey mark... from complete offroad, would you recommend getting those gearset/install kit packages they've got listed? if i remember correctly thats what you ordered back when you did your gears?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well if I was to order it in terms of who has gone the longest without wheeling (AFAIK)...

Bill, Travis, Carmelo, Mark, Ross, Kyle, Anthony.

I think that's about right.

Didn't Carmelo go wheeling the other week and ripped his rear shaft in half?

 you're right. back of the line for him.

...fixed now :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That doesn't really count, at least it doesn't for me.

That was 5 minutes down a 1/4 mile long abandoned fire road.

It was a test run really.

I remember attempting for the same thing last time.

I don't know if they're still Yukons as the PNs didn't match up to what Mark got.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hmmm. Mark, ideas/thoughts/suggestions??

I'll probably give em a call and ask.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I got the "no name" gearset with the Yukon part number, then I got the Yukon listed master install kit.

I have no problems with the gears, as they were indeed Yukon gears (came in a Yukon box, with a Yukon manual identical to the Yukon install kit, had YK marked on them, etc).

So ya I would recommend. I talked with Colin when he was ordering his, the install kit was a lot cheaper when I ordered it than it is now.

I didn't go with any of the package deals though. I just picked the gears I wanted, and then the Install kit. I don't know what comes with their no name install kits, so I decided I would rather pay a little extra for a known brand.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't remember this at all?

I remember going through their website and trying to match up what their PNs were listed as to what you said you got. I was on the phone with you at the time. I was looking at their no-name package deals trying to figure out what kind of gears they were.

I even tried calling them to no avail.

Oh, and I drove out onto the beach on Saturday. I had to put it into 4 wheel drive, does this count as wheeling?

OK I'll try to give them a call after work sometime... Thanks for the input

I remember being on the phone with you, I remember getting out my receipt to figure out what I got. The part numbers I had, and I told you matched up on the website. I remember you saying you were trying to figure out what the package deals were, but weren't having any luck. I don't remember you saying that part numbers didn't match up.

Would this go along with you telling me your pinion was hitting your Y-link, to which I said I already knew this. I then provided you a picture explaining we talked about it at our break in run.

In which case you said oh, well I don't think I saw that.

To which I provided you with the following photo, of you looking at the yoke hitting the arm.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Touche sir.

Touche.

:gee:

Haha, that was a great conversation. I believe it went along the lines of this.

"I don't think I saw that."
"Ya you did, I have a picture of you looking at it."
"No you don't"
"Ya, here."
"Damn."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:roflmao: SO easy to picture that conversation. :roflmao:
