So, at 47K miles on my Honda, the clutch is making noise when it is depressed. Its a creaking-grown when the pedal is pressed and released, and its coming from the throwout fork location (car can be on or off).

Was at the dealership I bought it from this weekend, they say the throwout bearing is dry as its riding on the input shaft. Its considered a wear item so its not covered, and to lubricate it you have to remove the tranny so might as well do a clutch while you're in there for $1400.

I'm going back to the dealership I've had all the service done, and who has had my transmission off and disassembled at least twice already and asking them to please fix it, because 47K is a little ridiculous. This Honda is not as reliable as they made it out to be. (But at least I haven't had to do or pay for any of the repairs)

Bets on whether they do it or not?
