Congrats on the offer Ken, that's awesome! Welcome back to the working world.

I can't wait :sunshine:

Especially since I will quite literally be designing, building, and testing embedded systems and wiring harnesses for flying cars.

It's a long commute (not that long, only like 40 miles roundtrip more than I was doing for Intel) but you know what? I'll be working for a small startup (that ISN'T composed entirely of criminals and lunatics and managed by criminal lunatics, like the last one) doing exactly what I've always wanted to do. Worth it.

Ken, before you get too busy with your new job, I'd like to pay you some money to bud my shifter controller. I think I'm just gunna delete the TCU and wire up the solenoids directly.

Ross, I'm not really a vendor. That being said I may well be interested in trading for either parts or some machine time, especially if you have or can get access to a big ass lathe...

On that note, I just got my offer letter halfway through installing an LSD in the MJ's 8.25. Looks like all I have to do is choose my health insurance plan, start date, and I'm officially a respectable adult again. Well, that might be taking it a bit far I guess.

I don't think I can afford to go, would love to but I need to save that money for gas to get to work... speaking of which, just spoke with that company and it looks like they're sending me an offer letter within the next few days. Hells yeah.

He thinks I'm really broke, and he's right. Because right now I get an awful lot of fan mail from a variety of places.

Actually I've talked to him, he waves whenever I drive by in the MJ while he's on his route. Nice dude, he watched the place fall apart under the previous owners while they did no repairs and pretty much said "it's gotta get worse before it gets better, been there done that" when I explained that I was rebuilding the place alone.

in other news, its almost time for me to order those motor mount brackets (well, the driver side one since i have a passenger side from chris) and a header... the crack in mine is getting pretty noisy.

i guess. i already have the one side from chris so i figured it would save me some money. maybe i'll just buy the brackets and hardware from him, i'd like the have poly motor mounts since i have the poly trans mount.
