THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I might be, but I know I should be packing for NH. Heading up there for a wedding and some hiking next weekend.

Maybe. Deanna might have free sox tickets for Wednesday night. if that's the case, I'm going to spend Thursday evening sleeping.

Well let me know either way. I don't have any plans.

I just have to finish cleaning/unpacking tonight. So much mud everywhere. Removeable floors were worth the time. I can literally clean off every inch of the drivetrain.

I PM'd Tim on Pirate. I was thinking of running a 2191 (19gal) with his walbro pickup setup, but I'd have to do an external pump. I'm not a big fan of external pumps but he hasn't found a way to attach the walbro pickups to an intank pump setup yet.

It looks like Chris's old xj, but with stuff sticking out of the hood.

What's wrong with external pumps? I have not had any issues with my Mallory one.
Going from 15 (even with 12 usable) to 19 seems like a waste, IMO. Go with larger 25+ or the 32 you were looking at.
Can't be.

It finished the race.

:D
Oooh... I'll send some burn cream.

I know lots of people run them without issues, but I don't know. I have no reason for disliking them, I just dislike the idea of them not being in the tank being cooled by fuel and no feed lines.

Yeah it does seem like a waste, but the larger tanks are much more expensive. I think most of the races are between 20-30 miles so 18 gal should net me, at a minimum, 36 miles of racing. I think that should be ok. 14 gal would be borderline not enough.

Anyone ever been to Montreal Canada?
I'll be going up there in a couple weeks on business.
Looking at hotels and a few good places to eat. We will have our own transportation, but would prefer walking from hotel to places.

I was there 2 weeks ago. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency. I didn't eat, just went to bars. Ziggy's was a good one, all the others had naked girls.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well, it looks like there was more damage from the roll than I thought. Not sure what to do about it, maybe just FIRI at this point and keep an eye on it. It's kind of hard to tell how bad it is in the pictures, but the rail should be smooth/flat for that whole section, so where it's pushed down/in is the issue. Suggestions?

few years ago to go snowboarding. Stayed at the Marriott Montreal Chateau Champlain. I remember there being a good few bars and restaurants nearby.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hammer/heat it straight as possible again, and beef the hell out of it. thats gonna be a problem if you keep beating on it, it will crack.

That sounds like a lot of work, I would recommend just pretending it's not there.
