the install instructions even say thats its OK to use them without limit straps in slow speed stuff. I woulda thought for sure the couple of tack welds on the lower bushing housing woulda broke off first. im gunna give them a call and see what they say. even if I cant get a warrenty shock, im at least hoping ill get a good discount on buying a new one. then im ordering new limit straps immediately afterwards.

Managed to break both of the rear upper control arms in the ZJ recently. Did a hoopty ass fix to get it to Pat's house and fixed it there yesterday along with a bad shock up front. I think one of the arms must've been broken for a while before the second one let go on Saturday because the difference when driving is night and day.

Back in the cafe again, drinking some water. Jobs like this suck but are awesome at the same time. If everything was finished like it should have been when I got here I would have been on my way home already. I'm up in westchester and I'm dreading the drive home later if we get this snow.
