THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

This is the most botched snow forecast this year. Last night we had about 4" and was told another 4-6" this morning. Woke up at 6 to see close to 12".
Just finished one driveway (snow still comeing down) and we have about 17" so far. Radar looks like the storm is just sitting over me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So much for bending up some more tube this weekend.

Probably gonna work a half day from home today instead of a full day and get started on snow clean up.

It's pretty much ended here.

From everyone I've talked to that's more inland, yeah. They underestimated this one. Around here the forecast was fairly conservative, borderline accurate.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Woke up to way too much snow.

Then my neighbor from florida called.. HELP! MY TRUCK IS SIDEWAYS IN OUR DRIVEWAY AND I'M 6 INCHES FROM A TREE ON BOTH ENDS! :(

Long story short, my winch bumper and winch are tested, they work, can pull a gmc 1500 up a hill, I need/want a rear locker bad, and my neighbor said he owes me a case of beer. I should probably put my snow tires on one of these years, too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

took me an extra 5 minutes to get to work once i was able to get out of the drive way, some dude was going sideways into his drive way almost hit the truck, then at the bottom of the road another dude just parked his 4wd taco in the intersection and got out and walked back to his house. took the empty unplowed side roads was a f150 2wd plow truck doing donuts in an intersection had to wait for him to finish his fun before i could cross, but i got great parking spot at work

but when i got in i had supervisor from a different deparment that i let borrow some display screens to run some tests which they broke last night from people playing with it. first claim that we gave them defective stuff and there are no signs of a abuse with it, in half a second of looking it was clearly abuse, and then they tried to blame me for being the one who broke it. love fridays

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I couldn't even get in to work. The city plows built a 3' wall of ice blocking my parking lot, so I got gas, Dunkin and headed on home. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Came in today on my day off to help out, they cut a bunch of peaple and expect a bunch of cleaning and get work done, so can't wait o get the **** out of here

They're still screwed up. "Total snow accumulation 12-16""
Really? I had 16" at 9:30.

We're at a measured 20.25" now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

x2. Still blowing pretty hard in Taunton.

Deciding if I want to hit the gym or not when I get out of work. Back roads to Stoughton might be entertaining.

Bay road? People drive 5mph down it during the snow.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Whoa. He's red.

I think we're over 16" here, not sure. Thanks a lot, I needed that.

On a similar subject, I found out the Ford comes with a plow, and it's definitely free, needs brakes and possibly some exhaust work. I'm so getting it.

Yeh figured I'd join up finally.

What year is it again? 79?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

78 or 79, iirc.

It has the crummy cast wedges if it's coil sprung, so it's not getting my cheap 60s under it and the stock axles resold for more than the 60s cost. Whew, project scope creep narrowly avoided.

I think all F150's had the 44 that no one wants. I don't think you could get the HD44 or D60 unless it was an F250 or F350.

76/77 f150 44s had welded wedges. I built my 44 starting with a 76
