Itching to buy something, might pick up a mill soon.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Do it.

I really need to mill down the flanges on my headers. My friend didnt want to try it because he said it would chatter but i bet you could screw the thing down to some wood or something and then clamp that in place.

The slight exhaust leak is just annoying.

There's a better way to do it than that.

My cherokees not going to be happy with me.

Made a deal with my dad. Shes going to be gone in april or so.

92-98 as a replacement has to be a manual.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Belt sander but I don't have one.

If your dad has a piece of thick glass(like .5" or more) that is big enough to fit your manifold just glue a big sheet of sandpaper to it and pull you manifold across it until the scratch marks hit the entire flange. It's sounds like a pain in the dick but I'm willing to bet setting up the manifold in a mill would take longer than you think and either method is probably about equal. If I were to have to choose which one is better I'd say the sandpaper. Takes less material, better finish and way cheaper.

Belt sander isn't a great idea.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nope. I want to keep it, but my dads flipping out over me dumping so much into it.
What have you put into it?
All kidding aside XJs are some of the cheapest and easiest things to work on.

Just busted a intercooler boot clamp playing with the Dodge. Hopefully I can come up with something temporarily until I can get a new one Monday.
