Yipee autozone got me a good rotor this time guess ill toll this shit back together tomorow before work should have this hunk of shit outta the garage Friday, also has anyone had issue with brake fluid leaking aarround the bajo bolt washeers can't seem to get the pass side to stop leaking

you already have the antiwrap bar, add 2 thin leaves into your pack to stiffen it up. it wont lift it that much if you use middle to bottom leaves.

I already have 6 leaves per pack. If anything, they're too stiff.

What I probably should do is remove the overload and one of the extra leaves I added to soften it up a bit since there's no weight back there.

That and get some shorter shocks. I have barely 4" of shock shaft showing right now and I basically sit on the bumps at ride height.

oh ok. i really didnt know why you were suddenly thinking about linking sooner than later. what's the rear end doing? bouncing going fast? is it squatting under accel enough to get some of that monster motor power down? why get shorter shocks? just raise your upper mounts.

More leaves, more flex.

My eventual goal is to have a double triangulated 4 link rear with coilovers all the way around.

I can afford the change to link the rear and sell some of my stuff (cheap money for the leaves, shackles, shocks, traction bar stuff, etc.) and just use some kind of stock coils if the performance will be better.

Right now the rear end is stiff. Bounces going fast, sitting on the bumps doesn't help that. It doesn't squat or anything when I get on it, it just hooks so I'm very happy with that. No torque lean either since the tbar is on the passenger side.

I don't want to cut into the bed just for shocks. I'll do that for coilovers, but I'd rather not deal with it just for these shocks knowing that down the road I'm going to be changing them.

I've pretty much always had a traction bar.

I have 255/70 5125s out back.

I haven't touched anything yet because I do plan on adding a spare tire carrier in the bed right over the rear axle.

fwiw, my jeep twists/leans with the links/stock front coils. So I would assume yours would do it too, unless maybe there's more/bettah triangulation? :dunno:

methinks you would be lucky to get 100 bucks out of what leaf parts/traction bar you can salvage. custom traction bars are probably not an easy sell.

Why are you sitting on the bumps? tires hit when flexing? Not sure if its feasable, but you can outboard your bumpstops and set them for more uptravel and have the same tire clearance. Leaves inverting? eff it, let them invert a lil more. Shocks bottoming? dumb, get new shocks or chop some holes in your bed.

i know my buddy's bobbed MJ squats a little when he gets on it, thats just MJ leaf packs SOA and obviously less power. ideally your suspension shouldnt squat at all under accel, it should lift a little. what about throwing the spare in the rear of the bed? idk im just thinking out load

Shocks bottom out. Hence why I said I wouldn't mind getting different shocks. Ideally some short body 12" travel Bilsteins would work. Something similar to my shocks up front except with different valving.

I had both of those issues with rubicon express leafs (2 sets) both were junk. a nice leaf spring can make it a non-issue for a low power/smallish tire setup. big cool trucks are wicked dumb.

but I built a crossmember just for it on my truck. gonna have to move it too when i do my doubler (whenever that may be).

Photobucket is getting gayer and gayer every time i log on. Its insane all the useless bullshit they are adding to it. and sometimes i get an older version of it, and sometimes i get the new bullshit version of it. Seems totally random when it decides that.

Its becoming complicated as shit.
