THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have snow tires. I just need to make it to NH before it gets bad, and The roads need to be clearish by sunday night.

Some sources say 8 inches, others say 3 feet. The storm is just leaving texas or some shit. Nobody can possibly be too accurate.

As some models are showing a shitload of snow for you guys. Stock up now and be prepared. I want snow but 30-40" is a LOT
I just finished my winch bumper, we can get six feet and I won't care, I'll just drag the jeep through it till the road is clear. Now I get to hope the winch still works :jester:

Yea but the guys who opens the supermarket doesn't.
he doesn't have french toast materials anymore either so who cares

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

quick question for somebody, I swapped clusters in my 88 mj because I had the idiot light version. I ran the old senders for a while before finally getting the ones needed for the gauges. My coolant sender (now the correct one) still isn't reading. Any reason running the old sender would have fried the gauge itself?

It just sits all the way pinned plugged or unplugged and moves slightly after shutdown. I figured it's doing that because it's an open circuit due to the wire probably being cut or melted somewhere.

No, it's going to be bad. The NOAA has posted blizzard watches for most of NE and are forecasting 18-24" for your corner of this thing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I spoke with Marcus Arelius this morning. First time I have in a long while. He was stalking me 2 lanes over.

I finished painting the rest of my console/switch panel crap last night and tidied up the wiring. Just have to wire in the wideband O2 calibration switch/led and calibrate the O2 itself, bolt in the gauge cluster/gauges, and then I'm good to go.

Definitely gonna skip doing the oil pan this weekend. Not enough time and I have to deal with helping clear the driveway and brush off the trailer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wouldn't be upset if it dumped snow right through into saturday night. not upset at all.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ok mister weatherman

i wanted to be one when i was in HS. i was a huge weather nerd. the consensus among weather dudes on the internet (my buddy from high school works for a tv station in the midwest somewhere doing weather) is calling for 2 feet over new england, some areas up to 3. NYC/LI will be seeing 18-24, some areas more bc of the way the storm is setting itself up. lots of low pressure, strong winds... its a sno'reaster. friday night will be BAD for driving. 4" an hour of snow.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And I just found an app that will let me tune my Megasquirt from my android phone.

I ****ing love Megasquirt.

If I had a tablet, I could have it just be my dash as well.

EDIT: Balls...can only save/load tunes. Can't change any parameters. Oh well, I'm sure it's coming.

I want a lot of snow down here near Philly, only calling for 2"...sucks. I make good money pushing snow off the roads.

I would double check you have the correct sender and check your wiring first.

will it say danger to manifold when you hit the nos?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You could define that kind of an indicator

That's the beauty of MS. It's so open source/unlimited by shit that if the ECU can read it, you can create a gauge/indicator for it.

People have gone so far as creating outputs for NOS to spray in based on certain readings from the ECU (MAP level, RPM, coolant temp, throttle position etc.).
