THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

First year was 93 but I think they started production in the beginning of 92. In 93 you could actually get an AW4 in one which I would've rather had over the others that like to die.
yeah I've heard that... AW4 is still an auto, but at least it's not a POS like the chrysler ZJ trannies. :fuse:

Neither one of us have a spare setup, and it's going to be next to impossible to find. John (OverlandXJ) just put a pedal setup up for sale. They're unique to ZJ's, but apparently it's possible to fit XJ pedals to work. PurpleZJ on JF did it (poorly) if that helps as a reference.
damn. I'll check for that, thanks. From looking at the parts catalog it looked like the ZJ clutch pedal box is separate from the brake pedal box, so I didn't think that was possible, but it wouldn't be the first time the catalog has a wildly inaccurate picture, either.

edit: his price is fair (given the rarity of the parts, it's better than fair) but I am damn certain I'm going to be laughed at if I suggest $300 in swap parts for a $250 jeep... LOL

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Maybe.
But I would go for more of a shock and aw, Im thinking a 12 gauge Mossy 500 :shhh:

.50 cal blackpowder. I with hollow point sabots i can make the neighbors head, and the gun grabbers heasd all explode.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Some parts of high school me will never die

Hmm...

I think I'd head west for a few days of skiing in pretty epic conditions, followed by one of the most scenic highway drives in the US, then spend a bunch of time in the desert gettin ready for one of the most epic offroad races this year.

One of my only regrets about this trip is that we're leaving the same day everyone else is. In 2010 we stayed an extra day and the last night on the lakebed with no one around was amazing. It's really gonna be a shitshow this year...

Douche. :-(

One year the place is gonna get really shitty... Like people being assholes and ****ing shit up. Nature of the beast I think.

Could always give car-part.com a shot. You never know.

Blackpowder is just too hard to reload... but it's fun to shoot.

I'm just posting so no retard can say "first"

SECOND!!! hahaha! I had to...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Found the OEM tank skid and hitch for the ZJ I need at Everett's in Brockton yesterday, but the nut broke off the nut strip in the frame rail, so I was one bolt away from victory. Going back today with a 21MM wrench to finish it off.

If you're going for the one-big-one route, .45-70. Hit one of them and the shock wave will take out the rest.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Today sucks at work. Flexible duct is a great theory. But the fiberglass insulation part of it is a prick and when it doesn't want to slide onto the end of hard duct it's a huge pain in the ass. Doesn't help when my company refuses to give us the right sized ladders so I'm standing on the top plate through a suspended ceiling.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Safety Fourth!

Seriously, that's the kind of thing I do all the time because I don't feel like spending the extra $200 on a midsize ladder, but OSHA would have a cow.

I've ripped apart many XJs there as well as crushed a few.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sheared off two more trans-to-bellhousing bolts on the truck.

No idea why its happening. I used loctite last time and hammered on them. I'm gonna try loosening the trans mount and tightening them.
