THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

People live life on the weekend.

Leaf blew my whole yard today, that was a bitch.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I bought fancy rims/tires for the dodge, tires for adam and a DS door for the truck too. damn swap meets

There wasn't much there for me.

I left with a set of snow tires for the daily driver. Practically new, looks like they werent even used for half a winter.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i have one silly little section of frame left to box in on each side. But its such an awkward shape Id rather bitch about it on the internet than actually finish boxing it in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Cutting out a piece of cardboard for a template is pretty rough. I'd just skip, although I did it, and I'm the king of half ass.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i have a plan, im just gonna go to my buddies welding shop and get 2 pieces cut exactly how i want it. He cuts shit how i want for free with the press break. way nicer than breathing in abrasive disc and metal particles.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

already made the reservations for pizzafest too.

bitches better show up.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All day with no posts? What the **** is going on here?!!?!?!?

Also, anyone have the LH/RH taps for 1 ton TRE's? I believe they are 7/8" IIRC. If you do, can I borrow them plz?
If Billy can't find his, hit one of the swapmeets and you should find em. I always keep my eye out for taps I don't have in my collection, picked up UNC taps to complete my set all the way up to 7/8-UNC at Stafford for something like $10. Some guy even had most of the national extra fine taps, had never seen a 3/4-20 tap before.

One guy even had left and right hand taps for 24mm, if they had been 1.5mm thread pitch instead of M24x2 I would have had the taps to make WJ swap tie rods for $4.

Remind me how you cut with this tool

Unless I'm missing something

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I also have a very efficient tool for cutting. It's pretty advanced though. It involves cardboard, soapstone, and a torch.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Did the ball joints in my Dodge on Saturday.

Drove the passenger side ones in with a hammer. Whatever.

Had to replace an ABS sensor while I was doing it. $60. Lame.

E-brake pedal is way too stiff and doesn't hold the truck, so I have to take the rear brakes apart to check that this coming weekend. Balls.

Going over Pat's tonight to drop off some D44 gearing stuff and EAST WEST that shit. **** YEAH

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ah that's right> I need to tighten up my ebrake, truck is overdue for a sticker. But only need to take care of that and the 3rd brakelight and I think it'll be good otherwise..

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Righteous.

I'm going to rewire my MJ this week and hopefully order the pieces I need to replace the MS mainboard.

Maybe get back to tuning it the following weekend.
