Just got my travel plans for work next week. Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, Detroit, Toledo, Cleveland, mon-fri.

I don't mind the travel but this is not conducive to GSD'ing.

Just figured I'd give you a chance to learn the ropes and try to be competitive for a little while before I kick your ass with less than half the engine displacement. :nono:

I'm also my own worst enemy as far as moving this thing along...trans mount & crossmember is next, bushings are getting here today, but I have a neat design in mind that'll look pretty when it's done and probably take 3-4 times as long as it really needs to.

I'm pretty shitty when it comes to allowing myself to just brute-force something and move on.

All until I booger weld a miter cut shit cage and blast past you both on my first race? I have no experience racing, but, I do have leaf springs,a small block, and a big dick. Can't lose.

Can't be worse than Kokomo, IN...and even there I found some entertaining local stuff. I make the best of wherever I end up.

Although in the case of Cleveland, this time around that means a free night at the Fairview Country Club about 20 miles south, for one of our largest account's annual Oktoberfest with open bar featuring Great Lakes Brewery from 7-11 PM, all-you-can-eat German stuff, live band, bonfire, gourmet S'mores station (whateverthe**** that is), and probably lots of good business/networking opportunities.

So I'm not really worried about Cleveland. :laugh:

Hah. I know my MJ won't be that competitive. I'm mostly just doing it for fun. Since I'm trying to save for a house now, I probably won't be linking the ass end or doing coilovers anytime soon.

Yup I know how you feel. It's either slap something together and get going on it, or spend the time making it look nice and take an entire day doing something as stupid as shifters or something.

Scratch Indy, replace with Chicago. Even more driving!

Never been to Chicago, gotta spend Sunday night in the vicinity of O'Hare airport. Any suggestions?
