Depends on what your definition of small is...
IMO, I wouldn't get anything less than an 80cu ft. I purchased mine for $120-ish and my local shop swaps them out when I re-fill (about $45) so I never have to worry about my tank aging or the certs.

That's what I do and that's about what I pay.



Ken, I have a spare bottle of 75/25 you can borrow if you want. Just pay me back what it costs me to fill it at my Airgas I go to ($35-45).

Is $245 for a 12' 3/16" wall 2x6 cut in half a fair price? This guy down the road from me has it in stock and I want to start on my rockers. What should I expect for renting a small bottle and fill w/ 75/25? Trying to feel this guy out as I have never felt with him before

way expensive. I think I paid 120 or so, definitely no more than 170, at the place I go to in southbridge last summer.

Are you going somewhere in Waltham? I had good luck with Arc Welding, but I had built up a reputation with them through my old job before I bought anything. They're good guys, just go in and shoot the shit if they have time when you need some steel.

where did you get all the parts from? i dont wanna dick around with some shady vendor if i know you had a good experience somewhere.

id like to rebuild my np205 before nac-fest. and maybe twin stick it while i have it out.

i read that internally, nothing ever goes wrong in these unless its run out of fluid in these. but i know i at least need a seal kit and output bearing.
