THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

shitcarmelosays.com we have already discussed this. we carry a video camera around, inturrupt whatever carmelo is doing(eating, wheeling, having sex, playing nintendo, etc) and provoke him with a simple question.
Ah yes, I couldn't remember the exact wording at the moment. I really want to start it. I already had an idea of how to categorize it.

cant catch a break with this power steering. the 98 pump that i put on yesterday and screamed the whole drive home was quiet after work, then got louder driving to my buddy's garage. tried bleeding it again, still screamed. swapped in the junkyard pump/resi and its not as loud, but its still whining. i filled it with lucas from the get-go too. its sitting in my driveway now with the cap off, gravity bleeding. i guess ill try it in the morning.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that blows. I have no idea how I got away with it, I stuffed in a Durango box that I got second hand from Anthony and left sitting uncovered in the bed of my MJ for a month, a few new hoses, and my stock XJ pump in, filled it with fluid, didn't bleed it, started it right up and let it foam and whine till it was all aerated while trying to get it to bleed (as usual I can't be arsed to do it the right way or read the instructions), then let it sit till it stopped foaming, filled it back up, started it back up, drove it around, and it's been great ever since.

I can only conclude that my jeep likes it rough.

Is it all possible you XXXXed up something other than the pump. What is this the fourteenth pump you've tried? They can't all be bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I bet one of the O-rings on one of your lines is bad and it's aerating the fluid.

3rd. the first was definitely bad.

both lines/o-rings are brand new, and i cleaned the box side with emery cloth when i put it in. the only thing i can think is maybe the high pressure line o-ring fell off when i swapped pumps tonight, i cant remember if i saw it on there when i put it in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

with nitros? and a stick or auto?
Auto.
Nitro outer, ten factory inner held.
But to be fair, the pitbulls and the airtime had a big part in it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

How far do you guys drive to work? I'm looking into a company that is about 40-45 minutes and like 33 miles but I feel like its a little on the far side for a commute.

i wouldnt call that far. i'd drive more for a job i liked. my commute is currently 12 miles one way.. about 20 minutes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Roughly 6-7 miles now, used to be I just had to walk to my backyard. Id consider anything under a 30minute drive a short commute.

My dad commuted 1hr 45mins, and over 70 miles one way for 12 years.

I commuted 60 miles and about 1 1/2 hrs to a co-op.

My roommate drives from Boston to Southbridge every day.

I currently commute 45 minutes with only 13 miles.

That doesn't sound like a bad commute really at all.

I've learned that a lot of people at companies, don't live anywhere close to where they work. Most of the time the companies are in industrial parks, or areas where there are a lot of industry, and the surround town really sucks. I know I wouldn't want to live in 90% of Waltham, which is where I work. I'm living in Roslindale

I consider anything over an hour to be pushing it.

Speaking of which, my ex-boss just texted me to ask if I had a minute. Nope. I'm going to sleep, motherXXXXer. Talk to you in the morning.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah right now I have a 20 minute commute to work, and about 35 to school. Hopefully of I do get a job with them they stick me in a company vehicle.
