How many of you cool 3 link kids would come to my house to help me build one for my Jeep this winter. I'll have heat, beer, and food for anyone who knows more than I do.
ill probably buy a kit when my tax return comes inHow many of you cool 3 link kids would come to my house to help me build one for my Jeep this winter. I'll have heat, beer, and food for anyone who knows more than I do.
Extra hands and moral support don't hurt, fat head. :moon:It is so easy to build one, you can easily do it yourself.
I think they're going on the bottom of my rails tucked against my cross member .Not entirely sure I trust my cross member to handle the LCA's on them. The load isn't spaced out too much on both sides But looking at Clayton's shit mine is way stronger. Upper will go where ever it fits, I don't give a shit about my floor.Keith, just set your axle at full bump and build everything to clear.
Get like 8" of separation at the axle, and as much as you can at the frame side while keeping the UCA somewhat parallel to the ground and the LCAs reasonably tucked up.

Why do people put all the responsibility on the BOD (per members forum).
Friggin get out and do something if you don't like the way the club is. You don't have to be a member of the BOD to organize a M&G or wheeling event.
Do you even need their approval to make itsanctioned?
I don't think many people do, because they all started to agree and say they like breakfast too.If it does, I don't know it.
I'll probably be there. You sure as hell know I was at the last one, I turned that into my own little event in Sam's backyard. This goes for everyone.
No excuses for those of you thinking of missing the Jan. ChickenFest. I don't care if you need to take a train, ride a bus, catch airfare, or build a space shuttle with new NASA funds, BE THERE.
Which one was it that this is in reference to?You need to come to more meet and greets.
Also, I'm thoroughly convinced I need to buy a tube notcher.
Any one better than the other?
I was thinking JD2 notchmaster and the SWAG swingarm.
I'll x2 to this all. We have a TN-100 back at school, it worked great and we got creative.I had a TN-100, the only benefit of the notchmaster over the TN-100 is it'll do offset notches. Which I never needed to do really.
The few times I needed it, I just stacked some washers under the pipe jig and it worked fine.
I definitely found some creative ways to use that damn thing...you'll wanna do yourself a favor and pick up one or two of the extra deep holesaws too.
I can vouch for this. I talked to him and angel about Scuba diving.Already have!
You still planning on narrowing?Extra hands and moral support don't hurt, fat head. :moon:
Nah. That's like a whole nother weekend of work I don't want to do. That would push my build from 2 solid weeks worth of work to like, 2 weeks and a weekend. F that. You still planning on narrowing?
