Yeah I don't think that really matters much. Probably aesthetic more than anything.

I'd rather cut & splice than work around a goofed bend if it's not turning out the way I want. That just means you're going to have to XXXX up the bend on the other side too, and a XXXXup is harder to replicate than using a splice or two to get the first side the way you want it.

Yeah yeah yeah. Should be fine though. In that picture the ass end (C-pillar ) should really be kicked up a bit so the rear of the roofline is up higher. I just used two clamps to give an idea for the picture.

You know what I'm talking about :laugh:.

Knowing my current trend, I'll probably just eff it up on the other side perfectly anyway

Nah, I cheat and use a chainsaw.
This is only about 1/8th (no joke) of the pile and most of the smaller stuff really. Most of it has been trucked to my buddies house already. All in 3-4ft pieces.

I also don't claim to be amazing at bending tube, I'm learning as I go. Probably not the best idea to be doing it while bending a cage, but whatever. Gotta start somewhere.

I'm still not sure I'd call the roof -to- wheel well supports "C-pillars" but I can see why people would call them that... and you're probably right since they technically kindof are c-pillars...

That's certainly not one day's effort. Going from a standing 3' diameter locust tree to a stacked & split cord (~16" pieces) ain't exactly a lazy day.

The large sections towards the front of the trailer in that pic are a good few hundred pounds each. Well beyond a two-man carry at any rate.

Sucks because this is all for next year and the year after. Trying to do enough now that we can take next year off. :laugh:

This year's supply sucks though, probably gonna have to end up buying some or at least calling in some favors.
