thats sweet, but longhorns is muchhh closer to me... no highway to get there, 15 min ride...I might take a ride down to the Bass one though, sometime.

well, the more people that come, the more chance of having it every week.
i firmly believe we could take over the show with jeeps :scottm: because my gm says
"hey, whatever brings people in.do what you want!"
soooo, maybe a naxja/other forum bulletin should be made?
idk. i never organized a meet/show before.

sure, make a thread in the NAC. Just let people know the general info, time place(preferably with an address), date(s) etc and all that good stuff, and I'm sure you'll get some people to show up. Be sure to tell people to spread the word too, so even if they're not able to come for the first week, maybe a buddy of their's would be interested...

ever go to Kimballs in Westford?? I loved pulling into the field with no doors, 37s, smashed body panels and all kinds of squeaky noises. there was a brand new challenger in front of me, and a shelby cobra behind one time... and I swear I got more looks :roflmao: it was awesome. Another time there was an old school mini cooper in front of me, when we parked next to each other and got out, he said "I honestly didn't know if you were going to drive over me" that was pretty hilarious as well. I actually have a pic of that on my photobucket...here it is. "I could only see the bottom of 'that winch thingy'" :D lol

definitely. I'll be there, just not with the big jeep, that's all. I'm hoping the show lasts so that once the big jeep IS together, i can cruise over in that. :)

i guess its up to how many people come, and the guy thats organizing it with my boss does another show or two...
for now itll be a classic car show but i would love to turn it into a free for all, show what ya brung kinda deal, but with more jeeps than anything else

btw found a NICE 51 willys for two grand in hollis.
surface rust only, frame is very good.
damn i wish i had two grand....got the tel# just in case something comes up or if anyone else is curious.

i think im gonna change my seats out, remove carpet and remove the plow frame today.
