THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't see anything about that in the signature rules:

Signatures:

  • Signatures shall be setup in your profile, and not manually added to your messages.
  • For commercial participants, signatures shall not contain pricing, plan, sales details etc.
  • Signatures may contain a maximum of four inanimate smilies or one animated smiley.
  • Signatures may include not more than two (2) URLs.
  • The maximum font size used in signatures shall not be more than one size larger than the default font size established by the Forum software for messages.
  • Signatures shall be limited to four (4) lines in length when viewed full screen at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768.
  • Signatures shall not contain inflammatory statements. Inflammatory comments shall be construed to include, but are not limited to, both attacks upon other participants and comments intended to elicit retaliation or offered as a form of retaliation.
  • Signatures shall not contain images.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't see anything about that in the signature rules:

It's covered in a broader section of the SOP as it covers general forum guidelines, not just signatures:

Any Type of Solicitation - When a member displays a link to a Web site not associated with NAXJA with the intent to draw visitors of NAXJA to their Web site. This type of solicitation is usually done in threads or posts, but it's not uncommon to see soliciting done in a member's viewable profile fields. Members shall not manually or automatically add advertisements or solicitations of any kind to their "Signature" or "Location".

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

A new Q word to play!

And I will return the favor with an infraction for having your signature automatically add a solicitation for a non-NAXJA-affiliated entity.

Yup, a link to the DWE site is totally OK under the rules, sorry Chris

It's not my website. And I'm trying to draw more members to promote responsible wheeling and the preservation of our land and sport.

I suck at computers.

It says:

Hear rev-limiters? It must be...
Underground Jeeps
sign me the XXXX up for several

the 5 ton doesn't have a rev limiter and it'll blow up if I try to hit it :(

Something in this transfer case isn't working right, I got the XXXXing thing back together, now neither of the yokes will move and i can't shift it at all, its stuck in one gear. XXXX me
did you put the pump inside or outside the rear case? It goes outside.

Don't ask.

If his broke, I'm pretty sure I have another one. Getting it to him in time would be tricky though.

it's looking like I'm going to be doing an allnighter finishing my bumper, fixing my exhaust (maybe), and fixing my license plate lights (maybe), else I'd offer to do parts hauling service.

I tried searching for it in the moderator forum quick, but I *do* recall this exact scenario being discussed, and long story short, I remember the general consensus was that local club forum links were acceptable, and that this guideline was generally meant to keep people from being able to advertise a friend's business in their signature, for example. I don't have the best memory, but it was something like that :gee:

Uh oh. It's 12:18 and I'm already out of food for the day.

:rtm:

I think "their" is the key word in this, setting the rule up to prevent someone from advertising their business or website, from which they could make a profit from.

Either way, doesn't pertain to me, don't care.
