Mike seems like an OK guy but he, flores, and mason appear to have a purse-swinging, hair-pulling, screaming fight at least once a month. I don't get it :wow:

For what it's worth I really wish flores would just cram something in his piehole when he tries to be funny by giving people he doesn't even know crap on advanced fab. He probably gets off to that kind of thing though...

i just did some searching to find a pic bc i swear i saw someone run a wheelwell to wheelwell mount.... couldn't. i might change/tweak my mounting idea slightly... i'll have to look at it my jeep during lunch. i dont want to cut into the wheelwells...

maybe i'll just make hoops and slice the crossbar i made down to tie the hoops together.

Don't you have a cage you fart sniffer? Does that cage not go very close to your shocks? Is a cage not a solid mounting point for like anything? Do you not want suck on my penisballs? Do you not like onion rings better french fries?

Flores can't even start a build without everybody killing it. He talked crap soo much in everybody elses threads that when we all did it to him it was too much for him. I mean some shit talking is fine, we'll all do it to each other but we know we don't mean it. He just goes too much and it seems like the CO chapter hates him now.

YEA. and french fries are better dickhole. the cage doesnt drop at the C-pillar so its not super close to the shocks. i could tie the cross bar into the cage, then to the floor but i feel like thats making monkey bars when i could make two hoops, tie them together with a horizontal bar, then tie that into the cage neatly.

so something like this, but smaller bc my shocks arent that tall..

'68, original 440, factory a/c. Spent the last 6 years under a cover sitting in a barn.

The key should be arriving as soon as the dude gets back from being activated due to the hurricane.

I think it's just a 4bbl, it didn't look like anything fancy.

It has a Dixie horn that works.

I know it ran when it was parked, and the tires still have the little nubs on them. Didn't even have to add air. The back rear quarters are almost entirely bondo where the metal hasn't completely rotted away. Whoever did the original body work on the rear didn't put the bumblebee stripes back in the proper spot, because a chunk of bondo cracked off and you can tell where the original stripes were underneath.

It'd be a disaster of a restoration project, you'd have to redo both rear quarters completely...but I think the plan is to have a fun beater to throw some historic plates on and drive the shit out of for now.

I've seen far worse cars go under restoration. I have no idea why people restore some of them other than being original R/T or weird option cars that are worth money.

Adam and Kieth better add extra steel for the shock mounts or where ever the crossbar and or hoops mount, 18 gause of whatever the back of the xj is made of is extremely week or do whatever you like and have shit rip apart

Auto, and 8-3/4". Came with a spare 3rd member that the guy was gonna rebuild with a limited slip or something.

It's a numbers matching R/T car but it definitely had an accident or two in its time...the guy we got it from already did the front end but never got around to the rear...then he was deployed for 5 years and lost interest in the project. He's one of our good friends from college and he'd rather keep it 'in the family' then deal with selling a half-finished project to some shmuck.

It has some kinda weird options...factory A/C like I mentioned, but either manual brakes/power steering or power brakes/manual steering, I forget which.
