Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Most definitely do not want to be at work right now. Couldn't sleep last night, then woke up early today but felt surprisingly alert/awake. Now I'm in the office and I just feel like ass.

Though there's a light at the end of the tunnel... vacation days next Monday/Tuesday. Something to look forward to.

And last night I realized that over the past month or two I have put on 10ish lbs. I blame the Bruins. Stupid junkfood and beer. Guess it's time to start working out again.

I am le tired.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So my boss just got into the office.

He then decided to bring up "oh, I forgot until now but [CEO of my Company & several VPs] are here today and will probably want a tour of the lab"

So I just had to skip my morning coffee and come down to the lab, clean up, etc. Also very glad that I decided to wear a slacks and a button down instead of jeans and a polo like I was considering since, apparently, we are going out to lunch with everyone.

I feel like that's something I would have wanted to hear Friday so that I knew to dress nicer. I never dress up just because I feel like it.

I agree, would have been nice to know.. I dressed nice today just because my slacks were on the top of the clean laundry pile and the nice shirt was already ironed :laugh3: Talk about well timed. I do recall hearing my boss and our sales rep talking about picking people up from the airport last week but didn't realize that the CEO was going to be coming out today

And I think I just scored 25ft of 0-2 awg wire, 25 ft of 4 awg, 25 ft of 8 awg, and 80 ft of 14-16awg twisted pair wire for free  That might have just saved me a decent amount of $$.

Anthony, your countersunk bit works with these right?

McMaster 91263A573
I just went to my local Ace hardware, but yeah it should.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AT40OM

I just looked up my Amazon order from last year (sometimes Technology is a good thing) and ^ those are the ones I ordered. The 3/4" bit (the one I gave you) has a 1/2" cut depth. Some quick trig tells me that is 97*. Those screws are 82*. But looking at the bit, it looks like 82* not 97*. So I would say FIRI.

I have the other 2 bits too, but they won't clear the diameter of the head of those bolts. The bit worked perfect for 3/8-16 countersunk bolts from Ace.

Edit: Double checking my quick trig tells me my quick trig was wrong. It comes out to a 74* point, if you believe that it has exactly a 1/2" cut depth. I would bet it's actually a 82* bit.

More trig says that if the cut depth is 7/16", it is a 82* point.

Boy I made this harder than it needed to be.
