rear bumpers tied in too

now if I could get it to run a bit smoother and get some shocks in it!

are there even tractor supply co's on long island? lol

thier motto is "the stuff you need out here"

but do you guys even have farms or a need for tractors? im thinkin the closest thing you have to farms are those wineries far east lol

The bottom of the doors have rust/rot going on but everything else is solid. Runs/drive great, makes cool jake brake noises, etc etc. I went and looked at it Friday and have been talking to the guy about it all weekend. The dude knows his stuff and took care of it and seems to be a great buy. Ive got enough cash to buy the truck outright and possible even already have someone interested in red jeep. Im thinking Im gunna make an offer on it tomorrow and go from there with what he says.

Seems like a lot of rust from the photos, probably need new doors? Be sure to inspect the bed/frame area really really well. I'd pass with that much rust. At least offer him no more than $5500, IMO.

I know you won't want it, but I know a guy selling a 2000 7.3L with the same mileage.

Only the doors have the rust, rockers and undercarraige are solid. Im not too caring about the rust I guess, Id just bedline the lower body to stop anything from happening and probably the doors for now, later Id fix the doors or find donors. I was thinking of offering $6k since it needs a couple little odds and ends. Mechinically its very solid and good to go.

Dude all of eastern LI is farms haha basically from my town east... sod farms potato farms winerys pumpkins all kinds of shitt lol

I just found out that my great aunt is a car fan. She has a late 60s Olds 442 convertible sitting in her garage. She bought it new. :shocked:

I think the next time I see her I am going to ask how much she wants since she hinted that she would sell it. Needs to be restored and hopefully she will cut me a deal since I'm family :rolleyes: I only see her a couple times per year so I have a while before that comes up but we were chatting about my other aunts '67 mustang that I wanted and I said how disappointed I was that it got sold before I could make an offer... hopefully she remembers that and doesn't sell her 442 without consulting me first :laugh:

ive been east like once. on the motorcycle. and all i remember is wineries lol.

but i guess the suburbs need a source of grass fo thier lawns and pumpkins to carve

yeah theres tons of wineries and stuff like that thoughout the north fork and the hamptons..

Nah dude, Anthony doesn't even like jeeps anymore. Ill just have to work on that silly black jeep again.
