So if anyone knows: Is there any 'danger' in me signing my car/title away w/o the actual buyer being present to sign the title as well? Long story short it sounds like the guy who is actually buying the car cannot meet tomorrow so he is sending his friend to meet me with the money.. Obviously the buyer wouldn't be able to sign the title in my presence if he sends a friend to pick the car up for him..
I just don't want to run into a situation where the buyer comes back some time down the road and says "I never signed the title claiming ownership, I don't want this car, give me my money back".
Edit: Nevermind this question... talked to the friend and he agreed to meet at the bank tomorrow so he can get a cashiers check (rather than dealing in cash). Then I am going to meet the actual buyer later in the evening when he gets out of work to sign the title & bill of sale.

cashier's checks can be faked and forged I would only take cash if I was you!!!

The guy currently has cash. I am meeting him at the bank tomorrow where he will be exchanging the cash for a cashiers check. I know it's not likely but cash can also be forged so I would rather have the bank verify everything is OK and issue a cashiers check in my presence.
Maybe I am being overly paranoid but I don't like the idea of taking $10k+ cash without having a bank verify it :dunno:
Oh and I just went to install the PS pump. Just my luck that the old low pressure hose broke while installing the new pump and I just returned the replacement hose that I bought thinking I could salvage mine :smsoap:

Tomorrow will be two weeks on a RS order for me, I feel like its a RS record, they usually never have slow shipping and BS. Yes, Ive even called a couple of times and will be calling again tomorrow.

I know, I ordered like 2 days before the change over :doh: When I called to get a status last Thursday, he couldnt even find all the info about my order. They stuff is in a complete mess I guess. I want my rod ends and bushings and stuff damnit!!!

wemt to the parts stores in search for a ccv elbow/valve thingy, walk out or retardzone and notice a late model 4dr XJ doorless, as i walk around the car next to it i see why, the b pillar was pushed in far enough to jack the driver seat to a pretty good angle and the windshield was smached pretty darn goo to, but the did decide to keep the pass doors on, also saw a bunch of college chicks in a wj pulled over by 5 cops/troopers, but aho cares bout that, i got a pimpin Chrome Mr Gasket CC vent that will prob need hood mods, but it looks cool
