I'd call around some other places, that seems steep.

Tubing prices just jumped up some, and there's another expected spike just before next winter I hear. Compared to the roughly $3.50-4 price before the first increase, that's not too bad I think. Travis, did you do thru MK?

I did. My dad's going to check what he can get it for thru work but I doubt it'll be much better of a price if at all seeing as they never order tubing for anything. Last summer when he checked he got basically the going rate, maybe a little better but not really. And I figure, yeah, +$5/ft sucks, but it's only gonna go up. I'm sure when Bill bought his tubing there was someone shaking their head thinking "damnnnnnnnnn I paid $1.22 5 years ago, that kid's CRAZY!!" :laugh:

All I was saying was get a 2nd or 3rd quote. 15 min could cave you hundreds on tubing prices.
I'll bet he did, it could also be the delivery charges because of the distance? IDK, but I think there is a place just over the border in NH from him, might be worth checking out. I don't remember the name though.

Yeah, that could be it. I've never ordered from them, but I knew there was another place.

I knew tubing prices went up, just that much was kinda a surprised to me. Wasn't it just a couple months back when I called for Rossy and got $4.xx a foot? Just glad I'm not paying for it not, good luck dude.

I am so XXXXing helpful on the phone that I make myself sick sometimes.

Really puts a bias on my impression of customer service when I call other vendors for stuff. I don't care what it is you're selling, it's just *not that hard* to be a customer service rep, I'm sorry.

And apparently we are in possession of one of the last 7203-B bearings in the country. That little incident in Japan sort of knocked those out of production for a while.

I've been working outside all day on a trailer.

AWESOME weather.

I drink Starbucks Sumatra at work. We've got a coffee pool, $10/mo for as much as you want. I don't really take advantage of it nearly as much as others do. I drink a mug a day, at most. I've found it messes with my appetite...

Starbucks sucks. They're overpriced and always give me a headache whenever I drink something from them to the point that I'm nauseous.

This guy sells sway bar kits and uses almost the exact same torsion bar as the one I pulled to make mine. Only difference is mine is slightly shorter and narrower(still thicker than currie) and the only downside he's found to using these is they are a good amount stiffer than a currie bar, and mine will be more comparable(roughly) to something like a currie. He's had these on rigs at KOH.
