THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I haven't even thought about color scheme for mine. I kinda like the factory color... Maybe I'd Fisher-Price it out, like my/Travis's 44's were...

that arrived in exploding flat rate boxes.

I havent recieved a jeep-related part in a flat rate box that hasnt exploded or something.

My RS order box had the 14b cover hanging out and my 14b R&P order had exploded gear setup paint inside it, everything was yellow.

I'm actually going to go pickup a J-shift D20 next week for $50 just in case mine decides to grenade on the first run out.

I plan on beating on it mercilessly to ensure it will hold up at NACfest.

The thing is, the bolts don't have to hold any vertical/horizontal force since the adapter fits similar to a spindle in the input of the D20 (input gear is part of the intermediate shaft that sits in the adapter). The bolts have to hold in sheer I guess? And keep the t-case clamped to the adapter obviously.

Can kinda see what I'm talking about here:

Ryan at ECGS just called me, he wanted to verify the ratio for the rear ARB to make sure it would work together.

ONE of my packages weighs 105 lbs. He was laughing.

I can't wait to see the look on my UPS driver's face

I'm buying some stuff this week too. Used 44 drums, a caliper and that's it. Whatever, I'm installing a dana 44 in my comanche next week so you can all suck it. This also opens me up to work on my honcho, so suck it TWICE!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm in the process of uploading everything to my new computer, and I just found these pics from an airshow that I went to a few years ago in '07 on Otis airforce base. It was cool because this was their practice day, before the airshow actually opened, so only base personnel and family were allowed in (dad works on Edwards ANG side).

All this talk of FSJ's reminded me of this, Jeep had a huge display, and this was their work vehicle.

I also got to see two F117 Nighthawks fly in and land, pretty impressive seeing a plane land with a parachute.
