Ken, if you see this, your stuff is sitting in front of black jeep. Bumpstops on the hood, coils on the ground. Im going to comsume beer at the 99 now....

So I grabbed that E250 Dana 60 semifloat and it sure is 35 spline holy shit the axles are huge! I just need to find a passenger side caliper bracket for it now

So, the site/client I work at/for has a position open for a shipping/handling. One of the recruiters helped me spruce up and fine tune my "resume", and got it handed off to someone in HR. Just got an email asking if I'd be available sometime on Thursday to meet with the manager :) I'm nervous but really excited. I'd love to get a job working for this company. It's a contract to hire, meaning I'd work 3-6 months as a contractor and assuming I don't suck, I'd get hired full time.

thanks. I'm trying to not get too excited, but I can't help it because I'm so damn sick of my current job, I'd love to get something different. Not to mention from what I understand it'd be a pretty decent jump in pay (at least $3/hr more)

it's fuggin cold... like, really really fuggin cold out right now. And the wind is kinda not awesome. I hope the snow is holding the plastic down on my roof.

The only thing I'd be slightly worried about getting the position is that NACFest is very shortly following the 3 month contractor thing... It'd really suck if they tried giving me a hard time about taking time off for that. But they seem to be pretty reasonable with that kind of stuff knock on wood, so I won't worry about it much. Main thing is to try and get the job first, then worry about arguing it out for time off :)

fine. but if NACFest means I stay a security guard cause this manager thinks I'm gonna be wanting weeks off at a time all the time to go drive around in a non street legal jeep 6 hours away from my house, I'm holding you two responsible :D
