yes, i think so. cuz that way when you stomp the gas, it shifts before engaging the spider gears, so it hits the ground with more of an impulse... right? :dunno:

i just posted in mod tech for the first time in a while... i feel iike one of those guys helping new guys start out now...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

but i siriousness the axle i planned on putting under the blue jeep has some play with the cross shaft

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

pull the cross shaft. if it's the cross shaft that's worn, i have a spare. if it's the carrier... i have an axle you can have.

is that mark's old axle?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, i gotta pull the cross shaft tomorow, but was to lazy to go outside to the other jeep to get the 8mm wrench

i almost bought that...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hello.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's bothering me, wouldn't I have felt that? I had never had any problems with that axle, and I had no idea that it had any problems. I had actually thought about putting that under the 2 door when I was having all the brake problems with it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mark, if you knew about that, i know you would have posted it. don't lose sleep over it....

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

play in and out, or the carrier is egged out? As long as it is tight in the holes in the carrier, I would not worry too much about it.
