THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have an old old shotgun that Ive yet to find another one similar too. Its a double barrel shotty, but instead of the barrel breaking forward and dropping down to reload, the barrel swivels to the side.
I bet it's an over under. I've heard of and seen pictures of over under breaching like that. Who's it made by?

This Remington was way cooler than any gun I've ever seen in person. It had mother of pearl grips and was really unique. It was supposedly #4 of 4 and #1 and #2 went to Teddy Roosevelt or his friends or something...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Neat. Can you answer the rest of my question? :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I dont know who made it, its be on a wall in my house for over 20 years as "wall art". Id have to get a step ladder to be able to reach it and look at it. The single barrel shotty with it is a Remington

got trigger locks on them bad boys? if not, you/your parents could get in some trouble with this wonderful state of ours! :thumbdn: Let's say (god forbid) there's a medical emergency and an ambulance is called to your house...if the EMT happens to notice them on the wall and no trigger locks (and is a douche who wants to make trouble for ya), well, yeah. $500-$5,000 fine or prison for up to a year.

just an fyi :)

You have an excellent point, but only if it's operational. If any parts have been taken out of the firing mechanism so as to disable it you're good to display it like that, AFAIK.

don't matter! how cool is that!!!

right. but if it's all there, even if it woudn't be considered safe to fire, that's all the law cares about

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just sayin. hell if you want I'll take out the firing pins if you aren't comfortable messing with them. If they're just for display it really isn't worth the "risk", that's all.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I agree.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wouldnt be surprised if the firing pins are long gone. Im not worried about it, no one has never even noticed/seen/asked about these before.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

and for the record, I'm not positive if taking them or anything else out makes them "inoperable" and legal. *If I were you* (thankfully I'm not :D) I'd just walk over to BassPro and buy a couple trigger locks for like $3 and throw em on there.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I need to install this winch asap. If it wasn't dark and snowing/sleeting right now it would already be done

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
