do people really buy AW4s for this kind of price? I keep seeing them for 200, 300, even 400 dollars on the classifieds... are these guys smoking something? I've never paid more than $75 for one.

i paid $300 for one with 60k miles and a 231 bolted to it.

i also paid $500 for one with a 99 xj with 30k miles bolted to it

I accept the challenge. Note that my sub amp needs a rebuild and my system isn't even close to being done tuning or done applying deadening material. Also, I cannot adjust my subwoofer level from the HU right now. My vifa tweeters get 50W rms, dayton mids get 50W rms, dayton 8" lows get 75W rms, rear 6.5" alpine type r components get 75 W rms, jl 12" sub gets 250W rms. 750W rms total.

The whole time I was reading through that, all I could think of was "rear main seal" :gee:

I definitely just blazed through 2 feet of partially frozen snow for like half an hour straight, foot on the floor. Temp gauge never went more than a hair over 210 even when I was moving at walking speed a few times, with the speedo reading 60+.

Im gunna attempt to make a mount for the 14b to chuck it up on the bridgeport for some "machining" for the shave job. If all goes according to plan, ill be able to hold the axle upside down to shave the bottom and on the pinion mount to deck the diff cover mating surface with the same bracket.

Welp, I definitely just broke the 96. Can only steer left now, ripped the bolts out of the steering box. Had fun doing it though.
