Ha, no it was not salt water, it was standing water in a sand pit (had permission to be there) and I wasn't going fast enough, as I was trying not to splash the sides too much as I had to be at work later that day, and my boss was kind of anti-wheelings (she was a natural resources park ranger)
I was warned by a friend before not to do it, I didn't listen, and he got to tell me he told me so after.

Ya Billy that sucks. I worked at an offroad beach for 2 years, it was a know fact that the vehicles came to us to die. I went to check the oil on our Bronco one time, as it had a small oil leak, the dipstick tube came out with the dipstick.
We had one Bronco loose its leaf springs on the beach. They literally disintegrated and fell off, they went down the beach picking them up the next day.

wow that yj did look good. when did you have that?
that blows about the bronco on the beach. when i lived overseas, we rode bicycles for transportation and your normal adult huffy 3 spd would be nearly un-usable in a year and a half cuz of rust.
