THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There's Tetris on facebook?!?!?!? Well I guess I have a reason to log in now. Today shall be known as the last day I was ever productive at work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I doubt Bill went very far out of his way to block it considering he works in IT.

Very very very far. :D
It would be easy. Go into preferences or tools depending on your browser and add it to the block list. Done.

I guess he just doesn't want to see my pictures :rattle:
Hardware blocked on both http and ssl so before it even routes out in the building.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wow. overkill much?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have to say, I was pretty confused when Bill sent me a facebook invite. I figured it was either Angel doing it, or he was really, really hammered.

Nope. Also keyword blocked if shows up in the source if someone somehow manages to get on a proxy. :laugh3:

Angel did it. I don't get that way and if I did I stay away from the computer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can see wanting to block it at work... Don't ask me why the Navy hasn't figured that out. You didn't bother to do this at home, did you?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I now know why Bill doesn't comment in my build thread. He can't see the pictures; all but a few are on facebook.

Either that, or he doesn't like me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's pretty trivial to do with most home routers, but they tend to run some really terrible quality software that results in constant crashes and slow loading pages if you dare to try and use the feature. m0n0wall, smoothwall, ddwrt, et al support it much better iirc.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Time for a Colin burn, oh wait, he went to the doctors for that 3 weeks ago.

Who said I can't see them? Do you really think I'd limit myself? :moon:
I've commented in the past just recently nothing really comment worthy I've seen vises bolted to benches and clean axle spindles before. I'll start commenting on everything if you want me to. :)

The truth must not come out... :D

I'd never want to do it at the home router level, that is just asking for issues.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:D hehe

Haha, good point. Being admin has its privileges.

Naw no need. Just busting balls.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh and I'm finding myself using the torch less and less.

I didn't even use it to cut the half circle on the LCA brackets, just three straight cuts and grind it smooth.

It has it's uses...but I just keep going back to the grinder.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Awe... wipe the tears. I commented.

:D

I could think of a ton of times it would have been handy, I just didn't want to drop the cash on one. When you start really getting into heavy fab work and lots of brackets\tabs\gussets in a day it'll be nice.

ahahahahahaha damn, well played.

Colin - I can see using it for inside cuts too tight to use an angle grinder on, and maybe large numbers of curved cuts. If I end up making myself some diff covers (for the MJ, I figure 1/4" plate cut and welded by yours truly is good enough for everything it will ever see) I might wish I had a torch, but that is about it.
