THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, what night this week are we pulling the engine?
Not sure. I'm planning on finishing welding the floors into my 96 one night this week (or Saturday based on the weather), finishing the M54 another night, doing a NAC express run another night (Bill / Ross / Carmelo / maybe Ryan - whatever works best for you guys) and pulling the engine with you another evening. Nothing is set in stone yet, and the weather is looking lousy for welding all week, so pick a day.

It sounds like you're a lot busier than me. You pick a day (other than tonight) and let me know.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If I can't make it with an angle grinder, drill press, and a welder...

I'm buying the kit. I don't forsee myself ever owning a bridgeport/lathe/TIG.

Then again...two years ago I didn't think I'd ever learn how to weld .

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

welcome to the club! just live it up on days off

The days off are now spent working for my dad. Black jeep is slowly losing any time that could be put forth working on it :rattle:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

A dana 300 but I don't want to buy that adapter. If I can find the spacer, 4.0 flywheel, clutch pedal and a dana 300 for as close to free as possible i'll go forward with the swap. Otherwise I'll probably wait for a T18.

i have a fly wheel from an auto but i think its different.

too bad my parts jeep wasnt an ax15. i would have given you it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just sent an email on an AX-15 that I might pick up to replace mine. The seller said it's complete with flywheel, clutch, pedals, etc if wanted but doesn't mention whether they want extra for the other parts.

Carmello, If I get the trans and the flywheel/pedals/etc are included in the sale price, any "extras" are all yours if you want tehm, aka I got your flywheel for ya and if you need a clutch or the pedals/etc I'll probably have them as well. Granted. if the clutch/flywheel are in significantly better shape than mine I might swap them out (primarily talking about the clutch) but I will def end up with a spare flywheel that you can have.
